Board & Train 'Boot Camp to Blue Ribbon'
Our board & train behaviour modification program offers your dog an intensive 4 week training boot camp with certified trainer and behaviourist Mimi Jacobson and her trusted side kick Sandy.
Your dog will stay in her home with Sandy her 8 year old Labrador. Our aim is to get your dog into dog daycare during the week, where learning how to be a dog in a pack environment is the best part of it all.
In Mimi's home the dog will learn basic rules, boundaries and limitations. On the weekends the dog will be home with you working on the techniques Mimi has taught you in your weekly half hour session with Mimi on Friday evening at pickup time.
Mimi has fostered and rehabilitated many dogs and their owners over the last 2 decades and has had great success in her work. Her therapy dog Sandy will be there to assist in the behaviour modification alongside Mimi in a supportive and gentle way.
This program in not suitable for aggressive and dangerous dogs. An in home assessment is required before committing to the service.
Only 1 spot available at a time, so call to book ahead. Does not include food, but lots of treats and cuddles. If your dog is crate trained, bring it along too.

Cancellation Policy/Cancellation Procedures: Deadline for cancelling a class or private session can receive a refund if notice is received via email within 48 hours of start of the class and private session. You can reschedule your classes or private session anytime before the 48-hours, or you will not qualify for a refund.
Deposits & Payment: Deposit of 30% is required to secure a spot and full payment is due at the start of class, private session, in home boarding or board & train.
No-Show Fees: No refund will be issued if you are a no show for a private sessions, and missing class without notice will not be refunded as the class has moved on to the next part of the program. Speak to Mimi to get instructions to catch up at home.
Vaccination Requirements: Proof of up-to-date vaccinations are required, including Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus), and Bordetella.
Assessment Requirements: Mandatory requirements for booking any service must be confirmed with a verbal or in person behaviour assessment, and decided by Mimi, and based on each individual case.
